Teeth and Bones

Just for fun I collect animal skulls while I'm walking through the woods. This one my son Cree found, brought home, and we cleaned it up a bit. It's still mouldering around here somewheres. It's not one of my favorite skulls. Although the dentia is fine and intact, the skull itself is a wreck.
By and large MK is a very good sport when it comes to things like this, although she much prefers fossilized remains.
I can't wait until we get to Montana this summer and we have the opportunity to do some serious fossil hunting. Shout out at ya, Gypsy!

You might find some dinosaur remains in Montana! Lots of those to be found I hear and a new museum somewhere in that part of the world recently opened to showcase one that was petrified rather than fossilized.
