Nature

I have this Soviet-era FED 3 rangefinder camera, and let me tell ya, I never know what's going to come out of that thing. The film doesn't advance properly, nothing is exposed as it should be...it's a lot like having a baby. Is this genius or just another drain on society. With luck, it'll be both!
But honestly, I have to admit that I love this camera, for no other reason than it surprises me. How much can we say that about in our lives? Beyond the sinking economy, that is.

Well the sinking economy can also bring pleasant surprises. Like you'll find the house of your dreams (or close enough) in the price range that you want!

TW1 - Agreed! We're patient :)
droll - I love that shot too. It's such painful junk, exactly the sort of the thing that The State would demand from the worker.

I'm pretty sure there's a gnome in the upper left quadrant. And I'm pretty sure I'm not imagining things. Because I haven't had a drop of your home-made cherry cough syrup in at least three weeks, Sweetie. I'm definitely seeing a gnome ...or someone short with a very pointy head.

I see the gnome!

Hey! You troublemakers, don't make me monitor responses. There is no gnome. There is, of course, a demon, but she hates being called a gnome.

That's a very cool photo, Jennifer! It's mystical-looking and makes me want to venture in...

Oh...and I see "the gnome" too, so either she's actually there or we're having the same visions, MK and Gypsy. (Of course...if the little gnome wants us to believe that she's a gnome-like demon with a pointy hat, then I'll go along with that too. ;-) )

My God, you people are right! I didn't see it before (I need glasses, but my Jeep needed a radiator, so...) but there is a Gnome up in that corner!
Sorry I doubted you, all of you, oh wiser ones than me :)
