Great gams!
It's an interesting shot, but it seems a little cliched to me. The gas mask, the broken baby doll head -- believe it or not, these are things I see a lot. In fact, when I saw the pic, at first, I thought it was a pic of someone else who I follow who is very heavily into S/M/B/D stuff. I do like the lighting an awful lot, though, and the composition's nice.
Hmmm, I might have to reconsider exactly how I chose to use these motifs. I'm not into the sex stuff end of the imagery. I want it to illustrate how dehumanized/toxic the world is in general, not specifically the S/M/B/D world.
If you'd like to include a note about the false cheerfulness of consumerism, you could add one of those cone-shaped birthday hats with the elastic under the chin.
But maybe that would be busy.
Or maybe the doll head would like to wear a party hat.
eek. interesting...but as a self portrait...eek. That's my professional psychological opinion.

TW1: Yes, I go eek with myself quite often too. But here I want to remove the 'self' from self portrait, dwell less on that personal imagery and convey something more and hopefully smart assy in fatalistic whimsical kind of way ;)
