Out at the Frick

Riechter Von Sanchez and me outside the Frick Musuem. MK was with us that day, and she, in fact, took this little shot for us. The late 16th century, early 17th century sketches were interesting enough, the biggest marvel was that they'd survived at all, but not nearly as engaging as the Japanese period drawings that we saw last Christmas at the Frick. Still, the Frick is the best museum bargain in town, being that it's free! And we all know what I think of free (better than cheap).

What a treasure! My friends and I went to "The Frick" when I last visited Pittsburgh. We toured the Frick Museums and Greenhouse, as well as the luxurious Frick Mansion ("Clayton")and enjoyed a delicious lunch at The Cafe. It was a delightful way to spend the day! :-)

H, just be glad that you're not here today ;) I'm dragging Caty to a geobiological lecture. It's free and you know what I think of free! :D
How are you surviving the cold, my friend?

It's great that you take advantage of all of the free opportunities!

As for the cold...I've become such a wimp anymore. Once I'm home, I'd rather try to see if I can figure out what to make from empty cupboards than go back out for more food.

How are YOU doing?
